A Solitary Witch
My name is Micky Dryden. I am a Solitary Witch who is looking to assist in building
a community of resources for others and build relationships. I am in my mid-50s and
find that it is time to step up and be open with who I am. My education includes a
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Master's Degree in Psychology, Certified
Nutritional Therapist, Ordained Life Facilitator, with 20+ years in the Human
Resources field in public service. I have more certifications in various things but
overall find that I care about people and anticipate the best in them. When you
meet me, you will disagree that I am an introvert but give it time and you will see it.
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised the majority of my youth in the South. We lived in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. I moved to Colorado for about two years then on to the beautiful Northwest to Oregon. I have been here for the past 31 years. I have two sons and a stepdaughter. My husband and I have been together for over 19 years. We tend to be a private family with a quiet, happy life. I have been a witch my whole life. Being raised around it made it easy for me to understand the value of being open minded. I have explored many types of religion and found that this suits me best. My values are primarily gained from theories around Stoicism and a mix of open Wiccan beliefs. Every Solitary is unique and that is the best way to describe me.

Although I try to see the best in others even when they cannot see it for themselves, I am very much a person who appreciates private time to read books, garden, and work on my art projects. Being in large crowds is not my most desired choice and long periods of time with people generally makes me yearn for time alone. I respect people for who they are, regardless of where they come from or what they look like. I appreciate that we are all different and honestly, am glad that we are. It makes life more interesting!
